You’re surviving, sure.
But you want to thrive . . .

You can get there. I can help.

Support to help you hear
your own voice in all the noise.

That problem you’re dealing with? It feels like a lot, doesn’t it. Moreover, it feels like a new incarnation of the same problem you’ve been dealing with forever. You’ve tried so many different ideas and hacks. Some of them even seemed to work for a little while. But in the end, you cycled back and here you are. You even start to think that maybe you are the problem, that you just aren’t capable of succeeding.

Here’s the thing: Nobody else’s solution is going to fix your problem, and no one needs to fix you. You aren’t broken. And you already know most of the answer you need. You just haven’t heard yourself yet.

My job is to make space for you to hear your best self.

You may be considering coaching because you want:

  • To not only figure out your goals, but how to really, actually get there. Yes Virginia, there are ways to achieve your goals.

  • To learn how to handle inner critic (who sounds just like that crotchety aunt of yours) and not let that old besom get you down.

  • To build a toolkit of ways to move through the world without always tripping yourself up, even if you never actually learn how time works or get great with social cues.

  • To live in self-compassion and manage your challenges in a way that makes you more yourself, not less.

  • To understand that you are enough and that you don’t have do everything or be perfect to be enough.

If any of this clicks with you, I get it because I’m always working towards the same things. As a coach, my job is to help you make progress towards what really matters to you. You already know a great deal of what you need to get there. You just need to be able get it out of your head and hear it.

How does coaching work?

Coaching is a cooperative, creative relationship that supports you through the process of personal growth. It is entirely focused on your goals and needs. You set the destination and I help you get there. Does this sound amazing?

Here’s how to get started:

  1. First, we have a complementary fit call. I’ll share with you more about what I do, and you’ll share some about what you need. Most importantly, we’ll get to know each other to see if we’re a good fit.

  2. You’ll receive my coaching agreement, which outlines the details of the coaching relationship. You can read this through and then book your first appointment.

  3. At the first appointment, I’ll answer any questions you may have about anything so far, help you get comfortable with my coaching set up, and get a full and detailed understanding of your coaching goals.

  4. After that, we’re in business for regular appointments booked at your convenience. The average coaching engagement is about three months, though longer or shorter can work too. And you’ll have access to quick support through text chat or brief meetings as necessary.

 FAQs

  • Sure, I can work with you either way. For what it’s worth, if there were a coaching certification in neurodiveregence, I would pursue that. Since there isn’t, I’m focusing on my ADHD certification. However, there’s a great deal of overlap in coaching for ADHD and other differently-wired brains. And you don’t need a diagnosis at all. It’s really about the coaching relationship. As long as we have a good fit, it will work well.

  • I set all clients up with a link to my Google chat. If you need anything in between sessions—and we’ve all had the experience of thinking we had a plan, then getting stuck—just contact me in the chat. If you only need a quick check in for support, I’ve got you covered in chat. If it sounds like we need a longer conversation, I’ll ask you to book a short emergency session.

  • After the fit call when we’ve decided to work together, I’ll follow up with an email that includes a link to my calendly for scheduling. It will be customized to the length of session that we agreed would work best, though this can be adjusted if we decide something else will work better.

  • I hate to give an answer like “it depends.” But, it depends. Different clients benefit from different length sessions and sometimes different services. So cost can vary based on your needs.

  • I don’t sell packages. Life is complicated enough, and I like to give my clients flexibility. Do you need sessions every week for a while? Schedule that. Skip a couple weeks because life is crazy? Don’t schedule those. Calendly will collect your payment when you schedule, so you can pay for as many or as few sessions as you want at one time.

  • Life happens to everybody. I request 24 hour notice for rescheduling or cancellation. Of course, I’ll refund an unused session with reasonable notice. And honestly, I’m pretty reasonable about the rare last-minute emergency too. Just get in touch and we’ll discuss it.

  • No worries. You can discontinue at any time. If you’ve booked sessions that you haven’t used, I’ll happily refund those.

  • I’m happy to refund unused sessions. And, if in a given session you just really feel that you didn’t get your money’s worth, I’ll refund that too if you let me know within 24 hours. However, at that point, I’ll understand that coaching with me is not working for you, and our coaching agreement is terminated. I don’t refund sessions that were used more than 24 hours ago.

  • I am very excited to work with adolescents—so much cooler than grownups—and I plan to start in the early spring. I will be doing one to one coaching and some groups, which are great for this age because teens often feel put on the spot in individual coaching. Please email me if you are interested and I will contact you when I am accepting adolescent clients.

  • I do one hundred percent understand the challenges here, whether you yourself are quirky or not. I will be adding parent coaching soon. Please email me if you are interested and I will contact you when I am accepting parent coaching clients.
Also, I can recommend an amazing resource: bright & quirky. They are a great support for any family with non-neurotypical kids (including mine), and they do offer some coaching if you are urgently in need.
