Viola
Viola is a fine art print of a kitty drinking an Italian soda inspired by an actual photograph of a little girl. This print is full of beautiful glass greens, with lemon yellow, pinks, scarlet, a hint of yellow ochre, and the soft gray of the kitty. The color scheme came from a photograph of a European gelato shop. It is a fun print that would look great in a nursery or an older child’s room. In the larger 16 X 20 size, every paint stroke is stunningly visible, and the pair of Viola and her friend Bianca make a lovely statement for any wall.
Viola was originally painted in gouache on cold press paper, then carefully digitized with attention given to preserving the original colors and variations of the paint. Each print is made on velvet fine art paper with archival inks. I sign each print and package it with rigid chipboard in a protective sleeve or tube for safe shipping. These prints are available in both 8 X 10 ($24) or 16 X 20 ($50) inch sizes.
